Lazy Sunday - Elysium: Phoenix Square
We'll be going to see the 'lazy sunday' viewing of Elysium at the Phoenix.
'The creator of 2009’s critically adored smash-hit District 9, director Blomkamp returns with another intelligent blockbuster. It’s 2154 and society has been split in two. The wealthy live on Elysium - a high-tech metropolis in orbit free of war, disease and hunger. Meanwhile the rest of humankind scrabble for survival on the ruined Earth, forbidden from leaving its surface. After an industrial accident exposes factory-worker DeCosta to a fatal dose of radiation, he faces a race against time as he fights his way to Elysium where he can be cured. A timely parable of the haves and have-nots, this is grown-up and thrilling entertainment' (taken from Pheonix website)
Sometime - again - in the summer - (date to be confirmed - weather dependant!)
